Tay Ninh: Clear changes in Party building work

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Tay Ninh province Nguyen Manh Hung has just shared about Party building work before the 1st Congress of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

According to the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee, the work of organizing and building the Party in Tay Ninh province during the past term was carried out with a high sense of responsibility, determination, synchronization and efficiency, closely following the Party's principles and the Central's direction. The arrangement, streamlining of the apparatus, and streamlining of staff achieved outstanding results, implemented on schedule, creating positive changes in the activities of the political system.

An important highlight is the arrangement of administrative organization according to the new model, establishing Tay Ninh province on the basis of merging Tay Ninh and Long An provinces; not organizing district-level administrative units, and at the same time arranging 280 communes, wards and towns into 96 commune-level administrative units. Up to now, the operation of the two-level government has been basically stable, gradually overcoming difficulties and obstacles, promoting efficiency in management, operation and serving the people.

The cadre work continues to be strongly innovated, implemented closely and synchronously; the quality of cadres and party members is constantly improved. Many new models have been effectively implemented such as "Four-good Party Cells", "Four-good Grassroots Party Committees", contributing to improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations.

According to the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee, the work of building clean and strong grassroots party organizations continues to be promoted; the activities of Party committees and Party cells are innovated in a practical direction, linked to the political tasks of each agency, unit and locality. Tay Ninh Province also focuses on the Party committee secretary being the head of the agency or unit; Party cell secretary being the head of hamlet or neighborhood, thereby strengthening the direct and comprehensive leadership role of the grassroots Party committee.

The results achieved are clearly shown through specific figures: Every year, over 97% of grassroots party organizations and party members complete their tasks well or better; 100% of hamlets and neighborhoods have party cells; during the term, 14,204 new party members were admitted, reaching 128% of the resolution target. The whole province currently has 1,597 grassroots party organizations with more than 94,000 party members.

Regarding the preparations for the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, Standing Deputy Secretary of Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Manh Hung said: All preparations have been implemented synchronously, on schedule and in accordance with regulations. The draft documents were elaborately and seriously prepared, with wide consultation among cadres, party members and people; thereby absorbing many valid opinions of high practical value.

“Personnel work has been carried out strictly, ensuring proper procedures; facilities, propaganda, and logistics have been carefully prepared. It can be affirmed that all preparations for the Congress are ready, ensuring the Congress takes place successfully,” affirmed the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee.
