The Roland Garros Junior Series by Renault tennis tournament - qualifying round for East Asia, Southeast Asia and South Asia took place in Hainan (China) from August 18 to 23, 2025, gathering the continent's top young talents. Among them, tennis player Le Tien Anh (Military unit) - a promising young face of Vietnamese tennis is the only representative of the Southeast Asian region to compete. This is an important milestone, affirming the new step forward of Vietnamese youth tennis in the international arena.

In the opening match of the tournament on August 18, Le Tien Anh immediately created a big surprise when he defeated Ranvir Singh (India, seed number 2) with a score of 2-1. After this strong affirmation, the young Vietnamese tennis player continuously impressed to overcome the group stage with a perfect record and participate in the final match to compete for the championship. In the final match of the tournament, Le Tien Anh faced Yashwin Dahiya (India, seed number 1).
The tense final match that lasted more than 2 hours ended with the victory belonging to Le Tien Anh. The Vietnamese tennis player born in 2011 defeated his opponent with a score of 2-0 (7-6, 7-5).

With this championship, Le Tien Anh brought home the trophy and a prize of 2,000 USD. Notably, this achievement also helped the 14-year-old tennis player win a ticket to Japan in October to compete for a place at the 2026 Roland Garros junior tournament in Paris, France.
