As of February 20, Thai Binh province has planted over 12,320 hectares of spring crops, reaching over 82% of the plan, an increase of over 6.4% over the same period in 2024. Focusing mainly on vegetables such as: beans of all kinds, pumpkins, corn, peanuts...

Farmers in An Tan commune (Thai Thuy) take care of vegetables.

These areas are growing well thanks to favorable weather conditions and careful care by farmers. In addition, farmers are focusing on harvesting 470 hectares of spring crops, with vegetables such as cabbage, kohlrabi, lettuce, green onions, corn, potatoes, etc., supplying markets in and outside the province.

Speeding up the planting and harvesting of crops not only ensures food supply but also contributes to increasing farmers’ income. In the coming time, the provincial agricultural sector will continue to guide farmers in caring for crops, preventing pests and diseases, and having an effective product consumption plan to bring about a bumper crop.
