Thanh Hoa receives and activates more than 2.2 million level 2 electronic identification accounts

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - With the goal of ensuring that all eligible citizens residing, studying and working in the province are received and activated with electronic identification accounts (EIDs), creating favorable conditions for people to transact and perform administrative procedures in the electronic environment, especially online public services, in recent times, the Thanh Hoa Police force has focused all resources, flexibly, creatively and scientifically deployed propaganda, mobilization and guidance measures, and supported citizens to install the VNeID application, receive records, and activate EIDs.

Police force guides people to activate level 2 electronic identification accounts.

Accordingly, not only assigning and arranging permanent staff to support people at the headquarters of police units in the province, the commune-level police force has established mobile teams, going to residential areas, schools, industrial parks, remote areas to support people in activating e-wallets. In particular, for the elderly, people with disabilities or people who do not use smartphones, the police force has directly and enthusiastically guided them step by step to ensure that everyone has access to digital technology in the most convenient way.

With such efforts, up to now, the entire Thanh Hoa province has collected and activated more than 2.2 million level 2 electronic identification accounts. This is the result of the strong direction of the provincial police leadership and the tireless efforts of each grassroots police officer. In particular, many localities have exceeded the assigned targets, becoming bright spots in the digital transformation process.
