Establishment of Forest Protection and Development Fund

This is a non-budgetary state financial fund, with legal status, its own seal, and is allowed to open accounts at banks and the State Treasury according to regulations; organized and operated as a public service unit.

The fund's apparatus includes the Fund Management Board, the Fund Control Board and the Fund Executive Board. The Fund Management Board has 5 members: the Chairman of the Fund Management Board is the Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in charge of forestry, the Vice Chairman of the Fund Management Board is the Head of the Forestry Sub-Department, and the members are representatives of the leaders of the Planning - Finance Department, the Inspection Department, and the Forestry Sub-Department under the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The Fund is headquartered at Hai Duong Forestry Sub-Department, Tan Lap residential area, Nam Dong ward, Hai Duong city.

The Fund was established to mobilize and effectively use social resources to protect and develop forests, contributing to the implementation of the policy of socializing forestry. Improving the capacity and effectiveness of forest management, use and protection for forest owners.
