Officials in Odessa, southern Ukraine, say a Russian warship fired a Kalibr cruise missile at the city, killing three people.
Four Kalibr cruise missiles were launched from Russian warships early on June 14 to attack targets in Odessa in southern Ukraine, Serhiy Bratchuk, spokesman for the city's military , said.
"Two missiles were intercepted by air defense forces, the remaining two hit the warehouse of a retail chain, killing three employees and injuring seven. There may be people trapped under the rubble," Mr. Bratchuk said.
Odessa officials added that six people were also injured when a business center and apartment building were damaged "by shock waves from air combat operations".

The government of Dnipro province in central Ukraine also announced the interception of three Russian suicide drones.
The Russian Defense Ministry has not commented on the information.
Russia is conducting repeated airstrikes to disrupt Ukraine’s counteroffensive and deplete its air defenses, as they must fire expensive shells against cheap missiles and drones. Ukrainian officials have repeatedly expressed concern to the West about the risk of a shortage of air defense missiles ahead of the counteroffensive.

Deputy Director of the Ukrainian Defense Intelligence Directorate Vadym Skibitsky said last month that Russia was focusing on attacking strongholds and ammunition depots to disrupt the counterattack, instead of trying to destroy energy infrastructure as before.
