Effectively implementing the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program, up to now, the city has a total of 39 products recognized as OCOP products, including 1 OCOP product with 4-star rating and 38 OCOP products with 3-star rating.

In recent times, Yen Bai city has focused on directing localities to focus on converting crop and livestock structures for inefficient land areas to increase people's income, continue to maintain, expand production scale and develop value chain linkage projects that have been and are being implemented such as: Tea, honey, commercial chicken, safe vegetables and Gioi Phien vermicelli projects.

The city also effectively implemented and supported production development according to Resolution 69 of the Provincial People's Council for 5 livestock projects with a budget of 200 million VND.

In order to effectively implement the One Commune One Product Program, Yen Bai City has actively coordinated with the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, and the People's Committees of communes and wards to support units participating in trade promotion and product promotion activities. Up to now, the city has a total of 39 products recognized as OCOP products, including 1 OCOP product with 4-star rating, 38 OCOP products with 3-star rating such as: Gioi Phien vermicelli, Minh Bao honey, Bach Vuong Vu white horse bone glue, Tan Thinh turmeric starch, Tuy Loc safe tomatoes, etc.

Along with that, actively coordinate with related units to deploy support for the subject units to participate in trade promotion activities and product promotion with 8 product display and sales rounds at festivals, fairs, and trade centers inside and outside the province; participate in e-commerce trading floors; build 10 kiosks selling OCOP products at markets: Ben Do, Yen Thinh; build 5 effective production and business models from the Farmers Support Fund in the communes of Au Lau, Minh Bao, Van Phu...
