Removing obstacles in investment attraction projects that have attracted investors' interest

STO - On the morning of August 13, at the People's Committee of Soc Trang province, comrade Lam Hoang Nghiep - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to listen to reports and proposals on investment calling projects that have attracted investors' interest but are still stuck in the province. Attending the meeting were comrade Vuong Quoc Nam - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches and the People's Committee of Soc Trang city.

Currently, in the province, there are 14 investment attraction projects with investors interested but still stuck in the fields of education, housing, infrastructure business of industrial clusters, environment and other fields. Specifically, including the projects: Vocational College; Trade Center (on the old Thanh Doi land); Commercial - service area combined with commercial housing (the old Khanh Hung hotel land); Commercial housing and market area in Ward 2, Nga Nam town; Commercial and service housing area in Ward 1, Nga Nam town; Commercial - service housing area in Ward 1, Ward 2, Vinh Chau town; Xay Da B social housing area; Investment and business of technical infrastructure of An Lac Industrial Cluster in Hamlet 1; Investment and business of technical infrastructure of Nga Nam Industrial Cluster; Investment and business of infrastructure of An Lac Industrial Cluster in Hamlet 2; Tran De inland waterway port; High-tech agriculture at the Canal of Thi Doi; Investing in the construction of a domestic solid waste treatment plant using waste-to-energy incineration technology; a domestic and industrial solid waste treatment plant; a domestic waste treatment plant in Vinh Chau town.

At the meeting, the Department of Planning and Investment reported in detail the implementation status of each project, difficulties and proposed solutions, and responsibilities for performing related tasks of departments, branches and localities.

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Lam Hoang Nghiep requested the Department of Planning and Investment to review the projects, and to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches and the People's Committee of Soc Trang city to complete the report on investment attraction projects with investors interested in the province. In particular, it is necessary to propose the tasks to be done, the specific implementation roadmap for each project, strive to organize the selection of investors as soon as possible and must ensure compliance with the provisions of law.
