After 3 days of testing, many candidates expressed their satisfaction with the test being within their ability, close to the curriculum and review. For the 3 general subjects (Literature, Math, Foreign Language), most candidates assessed that this year's non-specialized exam was within their ability, close to the curriculum. In addition to basic knowledge, the exam also had many questions of a classification nature for excellent students. Particularly for Math, the exam included all 4 levels of knowledge: recognition, understanding, application and high application to classify candidates. Of which, about 70% of the questions were at the recognition and understanding levels.
Candidate To Ngoc Anh, grade 9, Doan Ket Secondary School, taking the exam at the Examination Council of Hai Dao High School (Van Don District), said: This year's exam was quite suitable, especially the general subjects such as Literature and Foreign Languages were closely following the program, suitable for students' abilities. I was able to do about 80-90% of the content in the exam. Math had 12 multiple choice questions and 7 essay questions, most of which were in the review focus, with only a few difficult questions of high classification at the end. I predict that I will get about 7-8 points.

Candidate Truong Bui Bao Ha, a student at Trong Diem Secondary School, shared: I have always loved Geography because it helps me understand more deeply about the world around me, from nature, climate to people and economic regions. That is why I decided to register for the Geography specialized class at Ha Long Specialized High School. After the specialized exam, I felt quite confident with my work. The exam was highly classified but also very interesting, giving me the opportunity to apply practical knowledge and demonstrate my reasoning. I hope to have good results so that I can soon study in my dream school.
Successful, safe, and in compliance with regulations
After 3 days of serious and safe exams, more than 15,500 candidates in Quang Ninh province have completed three subjects in the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year. This is the first year that junior high school graduates take the 10th grade entrance exam according to the 2018 General Education Program with many innovations from exam content to the way of calculating admission scores. All exam subjects are calculated with a coefficient of 1, instead of multiplying the coefficient of 2 for Math and Literature as before. This adjustment aims to ensure greater fairness for candidates with strengths in other subjects, reflecting the spirit of comprehensive and flexible educational innovation.
According to the assessment of the examination councils, the exam was successful, safe, serious and full of humanity. That success was the result of the synchronous participation and responsibility of the entire political system from the province to the grassroots, along with the consensus and support of parents and the whole society in creating the best conditions for students to enter high school.
In order for the exam to be of high quality and in accordance with regulations, the provincial Department of Education has focused on organizing systematic review, practicing test-taking skills, and consolidating knowledge for students. Preparations have been carefully implemented with 32 examination councils across the province. The Department of Education has mobilized more than 2,500 officials, teachers, staff and coordinating forces to participate in organizing the exam, ensuring all favorable conditions for candidates and safety for the entire exam process.
Despite taking place in hot weather conditions, this year's 10th grade entrance exam in Quang Ninh still took place in a responsible, enthusiastic and humane atmosphere. Localities in the province have proactively reviewed and developed appropriate and timely support plans for candidates in difficult circumstances. In particular, students who are children of ethnic minorities, families with preferential policies, poor households, students with disabilities, in remote areas, islands, etc. are all provided with maximum conditions for travel, accommodation, material and spiritual needs, and are assured of completing the exam well.
Ms. Hoang Thi Oanh, Head of the Department of Education and Training of Ba Che District, said: From very early on, the Ba Che District Examination Steering Committee was completed and put into operation with a proactive and highly responsible spirit. The members of the committee were assigned specific tasks, strictly grasped the examination regulations and developed a detailed organization plan, from training exam invigilators to ensuring favorable conditions for candidates. In particular, the Department of Education and Training of the district arranged accommodation and meals at the Boarding High School for Ethnic Minorities for 107 candidates living far from the examination site. For students with difficult circumstances, the district also implemented a policy of supporting free meals and accommodation, helping them feel secure when entering the important exam.
In the hot sun of early June, the image of young volunteers in green shirts still tirelessly "supporting the exam season" at all exam sites in the province has become an emotional highlight. Responding to the program launched by the Provincial Youth Union, more than 800 union members and young people participated in 32 "Supporting the exam season" teams at 32 exam councils across the province. They did not mind the hot sun, enthusiastically distributed drinking water, guided candidates, supported parents, contributing to giving more confidence and confidence to candidates before entering the exam room.
Along with that, to ensure smooth and safe traffic during the exam, traffic police and security forces have been increased at hot spots. Faced with the sudden increase in traffic density around the exam area, police officers have proactively diverted and regulated traffic in a timely manner, creating the most favorable conditions for candidates to arrive at the exam site on time, without being affected by congestion.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha, a parent whose child took the exam at the Examination Council of Hon Gai High School, shared: From early morning, I saw the functional forces present in large numbers to direct traffic, control traffic and ensure security and order at the school gate. I am very grateful for the attention and enthusiastic support of all levels, sectors and functional forces, creating favorable conditions for the children to enter the exam safely and fully.
The support of the school, teachers and parents, along with the support of the authorities, has become a great motivation for all candidates to have a stable mentality, complete the exams well with the expectation of achieving high results. Thereby, contributing to creating a fair, transparent and humane exam.
