In case the university or college training program requires basic knowledge in a certain subject, the training institution must specify the entrance threshold for that subject to ensure that candidates have studied that subject in high school. The training institution must specify the minimum score of the core content (related to the field of study) that candidates must achieve in the total score of the exam).

With this new regulation, universities must set a minimum score for the foundation exam of the major, similar to the minimum score for the exam in the admission combination. Candidates must achieve this minimum score or higher to be considered for admission. The above requirements may not apply to language training majors where learners start from a basic level. Similarly, majors such as technology pedagogy or information technology pedagogy may also have appropriate adjustments.
