Major General Huynh Van Ngon, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 9, acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Party Committee and the Military Command of Tra Vinh province in 2023. Notably, the staff of the Party Committee and local authorities successfully organized the 2023 provincial defense area exercise, which was highly appreciated by the Military Region.
At the Provincial Border Guard Command, Colonel Nguyen Duc Minh, Commander of the Provincial Border Guard Command, reported an overview of the results achieved in performing the task of managing and protecting the unit's maritime border security and sovereignty in 2023; the plan to be on combat readiness, taking care of Tet for officers, soldiers and people in the area during the 2024 Giap Thin Tet holiday.

Major General Huynh Van Ngon, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 9, highly appreciated the achievements of Tra Vinh Border Guard in 2023, especially the coordination with other forces in performing the task of managing and protecting the sovereignty and security of Tra Vinh province's maritime border. At the same time, proactively advising local Party committees and authorities at all levels in building a strong people's border defense; closely coordinating with relevant levels, sectors and forces to maintain political security and social order and safety.
