According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on the night of December 1 and December 2, the weather across the country continues to be clearly differentiated between regions. The North will remain chilly at night and in the morning, with less clouds and sunny weather in the afternoon. Meanwhile, in the South Central and Central Highlands, scattered showers and thunderstorms will occur, with some places experiencing heavy rain, along with the risk of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Northwest: No rain at night; some places have fog in the early morning, sunny during the day. Light wind. Cold at night and morning, some places are very cold. Lowest temperature 14-17 degrees Celsius, especially in the Northwest 11-14 degrees Celsius; highest 23-26 degrees Celsius, some places above 26 degrees Celsius.

Northeast region: no rain at night; scattered light fog in the early morning, sunny during the day. Plains and coastal areas are cloudier, rain in some places at night and early morning, less cloudy in the afternoon and sunny. Light wind. Cold at night and morning, some places in mountainous areas are very cold. Lowest temperature 17-20 degrees Celsius, mountainous areas 13-16 degrees Celsius, some places below 13 degrees Celsius; highest 24-27 degrees Celsius.

From Thanh Hoa to Hue, it is cloudy. In the North, there will be rain in some places at night, fog in some places in the early morning, and sunny in the afternoon. In the South, there will be rain, scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places, locally heavy rain. North to Northwest wind level 2-3. The Central Highlands provinces have scattered showers and thunderstorms; light winds. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind. The lowest temperature is 18-21 degrees Celsius, in some places below 18 degrees Celsius; the highest is 27-30 degrees Celsius.

Southern region has scattered showers and thunderstorms at night, sunny during the day. Light wind. During thunderstorms, beware of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. Lowest temperature 22-25 degrees Celsius; highest 30-33 degrees Celsius, some places over 33 degrees Celsius.

Ho Chi Minh City: No rain at night; sunny during the day. Light wind. Lowest temperature 23-25 ​​degrees Celsius; highest 31-33 degrees Celsius.

During the night of December 1 and December 2, the western sea area of ​​the central East Sea, the southwestern sea area of ​​the northern East Sea (including the Hoang Sa special zone), and the sea area from Da Nang to Khanh Hoa will have scattered showers and thunderstorms. There is a possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind during thunderstorms.

From the night of December 2 to the end of December 3, the area of ​​Hue City, Da Nang City, the East of Quang Ngai to Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa will have moderate to heavy rain, rainfall of 40-100mm, locally >150mm. Risk of heavy rain >100mm/3 hours.

Currently, a part of cold air in the North is moving to the South. According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on land, in the early morning and morning of December 3, cold air will affect the Northeast, North Central and some places in the Northwest; then spread to the remaining areas of the Northwest and some places in the Central Central.

Accordingly, strong northeast wind level 3, coastal areas level 4-5. From the night of December 3, the weather in the North and North Central regions will be cold; some mountainous areas will be very cold. Lowest temperature: North and North Central regions 15-18 degrees Celsius; mountainous areas in the North 13-15 degrees Celsius; high mountainous areas below 11 degrees Celsius. Hanoi area from the night of December 3 is forecasted to be cold. Lowest temperature commonly 15-18 degrees Celsius.

Due to the influence of the cold air strengthening, at sea, from the morning of December 3, the Northeast wind in the Gulf of Tonkin gradually increased to level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8; rough seas, waves 2-4m. The North East Sea had strong winds of level 6-7, gusting to level 8-9; waves 3-5m. From the afternoon of December 3, the sea area from South Quang Tri to Thua Thien Hue and the North of the middle East Sea had strong winds of level 6, gusting to level 7-8; waves 3-5m.
