According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from the night of October 20, the weather in Hanoi will be cold at night and in the morning. Ho Chi Minh City will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, and heavy rain in some places. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.

From the night of October 20, the weather in the North and Thanh Hoa will turn cold at night and in the morning, and in the mountainous areas.
