1. Content
- Organize a contest to select and rank individual crabs according to weight, determine the first, second and third prizes of the Contest.
- The first prize-winning crab (with the largest weight) of the Competition will have its file prepared by the Organizing Committee to request the Vietnam Record Organization to set a record.
2. Format: Direct exam at the location specified by the Organizing Committee.
3. Conditions of participation:
- Crabs participating in the "Record Setting" Contest for Ca Mau Crab must have a minimum weight of 1,452 kg or more (Title "Largest Ca Mau Crab - Sumo Crab (Sumocrab)" in 2022).
- Crabs selected to participate in the Contest must be alive, with all parts intact and free of dirt.
- Organizations and individuals participating in the Contest are responsible for the origin of crabs in Ca Mau province. Any fraudulent acts, if detected by the Organizing Committee, will be immediately disqualified from the Contest. At the same time, the Organizing Committee has the right to withdraw results, prizes and make public announcements.
4. Time for receiving crab entries: From October 20, 2025 to 3:00 p.m. November 18, 2025 (during office hours):
- From October 20, 2025 to November 16, 2025 (during office hours): representatives of organizations and individuals bring crabs to the contest venue - Digital Transformation Center - Department of Science and Technology (No. 263 Tran Hung Dao, Tan Thanh Ward, Ca Mau Province) to register. The Organizing Committee will weigh and measure the size of the crab shell, create a profile and record contest information for organizations and individuals with participating crabs.
- From November 17, 2025 to 3:00 p.m. on November 18, 2025 (during office hours): representatives of organizations and individuals bring crabs to the Contest venue - Phan Ngoc Hien Square (Le Duan Street, An Xuyen Ward, Ca Mau Province) to register. The Organizing Committee will weigh and measure the size of the crab shell, create a profile and record the contest information for organizations and individuals with participating crabs.
- The Organizing Committee will synthesize the results from the reception stage to the end of the Contest (15:00 on November 18, 2025) to determine the results and make a record to recognize the crab with the largest weight.
Note:
- Each organization or individual can register many crabs if they meet the competition conditions.
- The crabs that have registered and completed their profiles during the reception period will have their photos taken and their profiles kept by the Organizing Committee to ensure transparency and fairness. (with the Rules and registration form for the competition attached).
