On the afternoon of August 9, the 20th Session (Special Session) of the 14th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026 took place at the Quang Ninh Provincial Conference Center to consider the dismissal from the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and the dismissal from the duties of a delegate of the 14th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026 for Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ky of the Provincial People's Council Delegation in Ha Long City according to his personal wishes.
After listening to the presentation of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the People's Council of Quang Ninh province discussed, voted and passed a Resolution on the dismissal of the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and the dismissal of the duties of delegate of the People's Council of Quang Ninh province, term XIV, 2021 - 2026 for Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ky.
