Information "heaven and earth" about damage, mentioning the 'heart' of Tehran's missile arsenal

Three Israeli sources revealed that the attack successfully destroyed 12 "planetary mixers" - key equipment used to produce solid propellant for Iran's long-range missiles. This is considered the "heart" of this country's missile arsenal.

Sources stressed that the destroyed equipment was "high-tech machinery" that Iran cannot produce itself and must import from abroad. According to assessments, Tehran will need at least a year to restore production capacity. However, Iran still holds a significant missile stockpile.

A senior US official also confirmed the information, saying the attack had paralyzed Iran's missile production capabilities.

In addition, Israeli sources also said that the airstrike targeted four air defense sites protecting Tehran and some of Iran's nuclear and energy infrastructure.

On the Iranian side, Fars news agency reported that Israel attacked several military bases in the western and southwestern areas of the capital Tehran. However, Tasnim affirmed that the military centers of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in this area were not damaged.

The attack took place on the night of October 26, and was confirmed by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) as retaliation for attacks on Israel on October 1.

According to CBS News , Israel's targets were limited to military facilities, not targeting Iran's nuclear or oil facilities. IRNA news agency also confirmed that no Iranian oil facilities were damaged.

Meanwhile, on the same day, October 26, THX reported that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said that Iran's nuclear facilities were "not affected" in the Israeli attack that took place earlier the same day.

IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi announced that "IAEA inspectors remain safe and continue their important work" in Iran, and called for "prudence and restraint" to avoid further actions that could jeopardize the safety and security of nuclear and other radioactive materials.

Earlier, the IDF announced early on October 26 that it had carried out "precise and targeted" airstrikes on multiple areas in Iran, including missile production facilities, surface-to-air missile systems, and other Iranian air force capabilities.

Iran's air defenses successfully repelled the Israeli attack, suffering only "minor damage," Tasnim reported.

Iran's military announced that four soldiers were killed in Israeli airstrikes.
