In the past time, under the leadership of the Party and State, directly and regularly led by the Politburo , the Secretariat, the Central Steering Committee for major holidays and important historical events of the country in the 3 years 2023 - 2025; The Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense has chaired and coordinated with Central Committees, Ministries, branches and localities to successfully organize activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024), leaving a deep impression in the hearts of the people and international friends; thereby arousing the heroic tradition, the spirit of great national unity, the pride and will, the determination to build a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, modern Vietnam People's Army, build a strong national defense, a solid people's position, contributing to building and firmly protecting the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam. The success of the commemorative activities is an extremely great encouragement and motivation for the Vietnam Army and People to continue to promote the glorious tradition of the heroic Army, the heroic Vietnamese people, firmly entering the new era - the era of the Vietnamese people's rise.
