At around 8:00 a.m. on May 12, the interdisciplinary inspection team for management, control of slaughter, trading, transportation of livestock products, and disease prevention in Duc Tho district discovered Mr. Le Van Hung (residing in Hong Tan village, Nam Thai commune, Nam Dan district, Nghe An ) selling pork products at Residential Group 5, Duc Tho town.
116 kg of pork of unknown origin was sold in Duc Tho town.
Through inspection, the delegation discovered that Mr. Le Van Hung was retailing 116 kg of pork without a quarantine stamp from the veterinary agency of the place of origin, and without valid documents from the competent authority permitting transportation from another area to Duc Tho district (an area with African swine fever).
The Duc Tho district interdisciplinary inspection team made a record of the incident.
After checking the quality of the above meat products, the authorities of Duc Tho district drew up a record of the violation and handed it over to the People's Committee of Duc Tho town for handling according to the provisions of law.
