Authorities inspect goods on car 50H – 128.81, trailer 29R-07091 |
Specifically, from the end of December 2023 to mid-January 2024, after coordinating with the authorities to inspect the car with license plate 50H - 128.81, trailer 29R-07091 driven by Mr. Nguyen Van M. (born in 1992, residing in Dinh Hoa district, Thai Nguyen province).
Through inspection, Market Management Team No. 1 - Provincial Market Management Department discovered 6 bicycles, 112 boxes of tissues, 75 boxes of tissue paper, 115 boxes of hair dryers, 34 handbags of various types, all manufactured abroad, without accompanying invoices and documents, identified as smuggled goods.
Next, Market Management Team No. 1 continued to coordinate with functional forces to search the car with license plate 50H 121.32 driven by Mr. Pham Van L. (born in 1994, residing in Van Canh district, Binh Dinh province) and discovered 3,450 insoles of unknown origin.
In the third case, through a report, Market Management Team No. 1 and the authorities searched the car with license plate 37H-028.19, driven by Mr. Tran Xuan C. (born in 1982, residing in Nghi Xa commune, Nghi Loc district, Nghe An province).
As a result, Market Management Team No. 1 discovered 20 laptops of various types, 300 tubes of skin cream, 52 CPU housings for desktop computers, 450 mobile phone screens, 58 music speakers, 20 spare chargers, 20 mobile phone back covers, and 20 headphones.
All of the above goods were produced abroad, without accompanying invoices and documents, and were identified as smuggled goods.
In addition, Market Management Team No. 1 also temporarily detained 467 car steering wheel covers without invoices, documents, or labels showing product information, and were goods of unknown origin.
The total value of goods in the above 3 cases is estimated at more than 500 million VND.
After making a record, the above goods are currently being processed by the Provincial Market Management Department according to legal regulations.
