Ter Stegen 's marriage with his wife broke down, allegedly due to the appearance of a third person. Specifically, according to Catalan press, Daniela Jehle had an affair with her personal trainer, after giving birth to her second son, which was also the period when the Barca goalkeeper struggled with injuries.

However, it seems that Ter Stegen soon found someone to comfort him to overcome the shock of being 'cuckolded' by his wife.

Three months after his marriage broke down, the German goalkeeper has publicly announced his new love – a beautiful young Catalan girl, amid an uncertain future at Barca.

On his personal page, Ter Stegen posted a story holding his new girlfriend's hand, with the caption: " Together ". And with the next image, Mundo found out her exact identity: Ona Sellares, aneducational psychologist.

Despite rumors of an imminent departure from Nou Camp, with the club buying Joan Garcia and renewing Szczesny, Ter Stegen still has a contract until 2028 and is determined to stay and fight for a starting position in the Barca squad.

The fact that he has a new love, a Catalan girl, seems to further strengthen that intention.
