BAC NINH - According to information from the Tax Department of Bac Ninh province, in the first 11 months of 2025, the whole province is estimated to collect 17,115.8 billion VND in land use tax, an increase of 84% compared to the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Committee, 2.3 times higher than the same period last year.

The main reason for the increase is that right from the beginning of the year, based on the assigned budget, the Tax Department of Bac Ninh province assigned revenue targets to each specialized department and tax team; closely coordinated with functional departments and localities to focus on exploiting and managing this revenue source.

In addition to collecting money from land allocation, land lease, and land use conversion projects, the high land use fee collection is also due to the real estate market and land auctions in many localities in the province becoming active again.

Increased land use tax collection contributes to increasing revenue for the provincial budget. In the past 11 months, the total domestic budget revenue of the whole province is estimated at 54,020.1 billion VND, an increase of 17.9% compared to the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Committee in 2025, an increase of 38.5% compared to the same period in 2024.
