Land of incense
At this time, orange and grapefruit gardens in wards and communes: Phuong Son, Chu, Luc Ngan, Nam Duong, Luc Son, ... are bustling with traders coming to buy products and tourists coming to visit. Farmers are happy because oranges and grapefruits have a good harvest and high prices; tourists are happy because they can immerse themselves in the space of sweet fruits. Surprised by the charm of the orchard, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bien, residential group 4, Yen Dung ward shared: "I have heard a lot about the orange and grapefruit area of Luc Ngan, but because I am busy, I only have the opportunity to visit this year. It is a pity for those who have not come here even once to immerse themselves in nature and enjoy the sweetness of the fruits in the garden." Saying that, Ms. Bien chattered with a group of friends dressed as village girls, taking the opportunity to record beautiful moments.

In the wards and communes of Luc Ngan district (formerly), there are currently 35 cooperatives registered for tourism business. The cooperatives have arranged funds, linked to invest in buying land, building new ones, renovating landscapes, planting organic fruit trees, clean food; building new, rich and attractive tourism products to attract visitors. A typical example is the Garden Viet Experiential Tourism Cooperative (Bong 2 residential group, Chu ward). Mr. Dinh Phuong Nam, a member of the Cooperative, said that his family alone has invested more than 7 billion VND to build a wooden stilt house, a swimming pool, a check-in point, a restaurant, etc. to serve tourists. Since the beginning of the orange and grapefruit season, his tourist establishment has cooperated with many travel agencies to welcome more than 1,000 tourists from provinces and cities such as Bac Ninh, Hanoi , Can Tho, Hai Phong, Ho Chi Minh City and countries such as Japan, Korea, China to visit and relax.
In addition to the number of guests eating and staying at the facility, the Cooperative and Mr. Nam's family also cooperate with citrus, grape, and melon gardeners, Thu Duong craft village (Nam Duong commune), spiritual tourism spots; hotels and motels around the area to bring guests to have fun and relax. "In addition to arranging sightseeing and accommodation for guests, we also prepare many local specialties such as: Chu rice noodles, Phong Van horse sausage, khau nhuc, wild vegetables, stream fish, etc. Especially, we cannot miss the long-standing specialty of the Nung people, which is Kien Thanh leaf wine for visitors to enjoy" - Mr. Nam said.
Double benefit
Not only in the Luc Ngan fruit growing areas, many communes in Luc Nam district (old), including Luc Son, are also busy entering the season. Lifting a large, juicy red grapefruit that has just had its protective layer removed to prevent pests and keep the fruit evenly red, Ms. Dong Thi Chin, Binh Giang village (Luc Son commune) could not hide her joy. This year's crop, thanks to good care, the quality and appearance of her family's grapefruit are more beautiful than last year. Therefore, after a survey, at the end of October, the entire grapefruit garden of more than 2 hectares of the family was ordered by traders from Hanoi. Of which, red grapefruit (used for worship during the Lunar New Year), about 3,000 fruits were ordered by customers at a price of 130,000-140,000 VND/fruit; The remaining grapefruit varieties are: Peach, Sugar Peach, Dien grapefruit, about 170,000 fruits, customers deposit with prices ranging from 15-16 thousand VND/fruit (depending on quality).
