In compliance with legal regulations on citizen reception, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment organizes regular citizen receptions on all working days of the week. Every month, the Ministry's leaders will directly receive citizens on the last Thursday of the month and conduct ad hoc receptions according to regulations to receive, answer and direct the timely resolution of complaints and denunciations of citizens in the field of Natural Resources and Environment.
At the regular citizen reception in September 2023, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Phuong Hoa and the functional units of the Ministry received 4 rounds of citizens complaining and denouncing related to the land and mineral sector from Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Lien in Duc Giang ward, Long Bien district, Hanoi ; Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Nhan in Ngoc Thuy ward, Long Bien, Hanoi; Mr. Nguyen Viet Lam in Duc Giang street, Long Bien, Hanoi; Mr. Tran Trong Phat in Thanh Xuan, Hanoi.
After listening to citizens' opinions and answering questions and responding to citizens by the Ministry Inspectorate and its affiliated units, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Phuong Hoa said that the leaders of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment always listen and will focus on directing affiliated units to resolve people's petitions and concerns related to the fields of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment according to their authority and legal regulations.
Regarding the 4 cases of citizens complaining today, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Phuong Hoa requested the functional units to focus on carefully studying the records of the citizens' cases. In which, any content related to the authority of the Ministry will be sent in writing to the localities requesting them to organize a review, verification and response to the citizens in accordance with the law.
In cases not under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Phuong Hoa explained and requested specialized units to guide citizens to competent and responsible agencies and units to be resolved in accordance with regulations and legal procedures for complaints and denunciations.
