Cambodian Prime Minister urges people to participate in elections

On July 16, Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen called on the people of this country to vote in the 7th National Assembly election on July 23.

Sharing on Telegram channel and many other social media platforms, the Cambodian Prime Minister said that after 16 days of election campaigning, the participating parties have all carried out activities in an exciting atmosphere.

The Cambodian leader sent the above message in the context that the country's parties are calling for more votes of support from the people in the final days of the election campaign (from July 1-21).

The election is scheduled to take place on July 23 at 23,789 locations in 25 capital constituencies and provincial-level administrative units nationwide.

Of which, more than 9.7 million voters in this country will vote to elect 125 members of the 7th National Assembly of Cambodia.

Seventeen political parties will compete with the ruling CPP in this election.

The National Election Committee of Cambodia (NEC) also said that more than two weeks of election campaigning went smoothly, ensuring security and order and no acts of violence.
