Will set a Vietnamese record with 200 vegetarian dishes from lotus

(GLO)- At the 2025 Vegetarian Food Festival taking place at Binh Phu Park (Binh Phu Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) from October 31 to November 4, the Organizing Committee will set a Vietnamese record with 200 vegetarian dishes made from lotus.

Accordingly, this year's Vegetarian Food Festival has the theme "Delicious from the taste, healthy from the heart", organized on an area of ​​over 7 hectares, gathering more than 250 booths divided into many areas: creative green culinary space, OCOP-Organic-Macrobiotic-Recycling product display area, experience-workshop area, art -music exchange area, and vegetarian buffet with more than 100 typical dishes from all 3 regions.

Within the framework of the festival, the “Love Festival” program will give 1,000 vegetarian meals to children in difficult circumstances. In addition, there will be international seminars discussing green culinary trends, green tourism and sustainable development.

The festival also includes a Food Waste Recycling Day, calling on the community to reduce waste; at the same time, many attractive activities are organized such as the "Green Master Chef Vietnam 2025" and "Green Future Chef Vietnam 2025" competitions, aiming to create a playground for talented chefs and a healthy vegetarian lifestyle trend aimed at the young generation.

This year’s festival is expected to attract more than 150,000 participants. Not only honoring Vietnamese vegetarian cuisine, the event also encourages the community to practice a green lifestyle, sustainable consumption and environmental friendliness.
