Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign surpassed Trump's in fundraising in July.
Official numbers for August from Ms Harris’s campaign have not yet been released. Both sides are ramping up television advertising in battleground states.
Harris' campaign said last month that it raised a total of $310 million in July.
