The Prime Minister chaired a meeting of the Steering Committee to review the Government's organizational model.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh , Head of the Steering Committee summarizing 20 years of implementing the Government's organizational model, spoke at the first meeting of the Steering Committee.

Also attending the meeting were Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang, Permanent Deputy Head of the Committee; Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra, Deputy Head of the Committee; Ministers, members of the Steering Committee, leaders of a number of ministries, branches and central agencies.

According to Decision No. 269/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the Steering Committee, the Steering Committee is responsible for researching and proposing to the Prime Minister tasks and solutions to summarize 20 years of implementing the Government's organizational model.

At the same time, assist the Prime Minister in directing and coordinating ministries, ministerial-level agencies and relevant agencies and organizations in summarizing 20 years of implementing the Government's organizational model.

The first meeting of the Steering Committee summarizes 20 years of implementing the Government's organizational model.

The Ministry of Home Affairs is the standing body of the Steering Committee, assisting the Head of the Committee in developing the Steering Committee's work plan and program; coordinating, urging ministries, ministerial-level agencies, and government agencies to review, evaluate, and summarize the implementation of functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of ministries, ministerial-level agencies, and government agencies from the 12th to 15th Government terms; synthesizing and reporting on the general activities of the Steering Committee and performing a number of other tasks assigned by the Head of the Committee.
