Prime Minister arrives in Beijing, begins trip to attend 'Belt and Road Forum'

Welcoming the Prime Minister and his delegation at the airport were leaders of Beijing City, Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Hung Ba, representatives of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs , Vietnamese Ambassador to China Dang Minh Khoi and embassy staff.

According to the program of activities, the Prime Minister is expected to meet Chinese leaders, receive large Chinese enterprises, meet with Embassy staff and the Vietnamese community in China.

With the theme “Belt and Road Cooperation: Shaping a Brighter Shared Future”, this Forum is attended by more than 5,000 delegates, including leaders of more than 90 international organizations and guests from more than 190 countries. In addition to attending the opening ceremony and roundtable sessions of the Forum, the Prime Minister will have a number of bilateral meetings with heads of delegations and delegates.

It is expected that today (April 25), the host country will organize 12 thematic forums with topics including Policy resonance, Infrastructure connectivity, Trade, Finance, Innovation, People-to-people exchange, Dialogue between research institutes, Dialogue of local authorities, Economic and trade cooperation zones, Road to integrity (anti-corruption), Green Silk Road, Digital Silk Road. On the same day, there will also be a Belt and Road CEO Forum with the participation of about 800 leaders of many enterprises and business associations.
