According to Xinhua News Agency, on June 28, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis outlined the priorities of the new government at the first cabinet meeting. “Our four common directions are better wages, better public health system, better state, better life in a strong Greece.
“Without a fast-growing economy , there can be no prosperous society,” Mr. Mitsotakis stressed. Over the next four years, the Greek government aims to implement at least 120 reforms.

Earlier, on June 25, Mr. Mitsotakis' New Democracy Party won the general election in Greece. After the results were announced, Mr. Mitsotakis pledged to implement many reforms at a faster pace during his second term.
