Can Tho Youth Festival 2025: Lighting the fire of entrepreneurship, pioneering digital transformation

On May 27, joining the exciting atmosphere of the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign Launch Ceremony, Can Tho City Youth Union coordinated with Can Tho College to organize the Can Tho Youth Festival 2025 with the theme "Start-up - Employment - Pioneering the digital age". The festival attracted a large number of union members and students to participate, creating a space for connection, career orientation and arousing the aspiration to master the future in the digital transformation era.

The festival is part of the project "Success skills for students of vocationaltraining institutions, phase 2024 - 2025", sponsored by Save the Children (SCI).

Speaking at the festival, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hoang, Vice Principal of Can Tho College, said that the event was an opportunity for the school to enhance comprehensive partnerships, greening vocational education institutions with the goal of sustainable development, especially closely connecting with units and businesses, moving towards training according to each order of agencies and businesses.

At the festival, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hoang called on all union members, youth, and students of universities and colleges in the city to raise their aspirations for "Startup - Employment - Pioneering the digital era" through exchanges and learning from activities: training on startup and employment topics; job introduction, display of startup products at booths, club, team, and group festivals at the festival...

5 key programs in the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign in Can Tho

On the morning of May 27, at the launching ceremony of the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, the Standing Committee of the Can Tho City Youth Union announced the implementation of the campaign with the motto "Widespread - Safe - Effective - Sustainable", focusing on 5 key programs including: Supporting the exam season, Green Summer, Red Flamboyant, Green March, Pink Vacation. The programs will be organized simultaneously from the city level to the grassroots level.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep, Vice Chairwoman of Can Tho City People's Committee, emphasized: Youth Union and Association at all levels need to promote the pioneering role of youth in socio -economic development, especially in disadvantaged areas, remote areas and ethnic minority areas. She also suggested strengthening inter-sectoral coordination to mobilize maximum resources, creating favorable conditions for youth to contribute, train and mature through volunteer activities.

City leaders hope that this year's summer campaign will continue to be an effective practical training environment, helping the city's youth mature and contribute positively to the overall development of the locality.

On this occasion, Can Tho City Youth Union launched 10 youth volunteer teams to participate in the campaign in provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta, Central Highlands and the two islands of Tho Chu (Kien Giang) and Hon Chuoi (Ca Mau), with a total of more than 30,000 union members, association members and students participating.
