Welcoming Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation at the airport were Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Komura Masahiro; Director of the Protocol Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan Shimada; Liaison officer of the Japanese Prime Minister Hiroto; Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan Pham Quang Hieu; officials and staff of the Embassy and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Japan.
During the working trip, along with attending activities and conferences to celebrate the 50th anniversary of ASEAN-Japan relations, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is expected to attend the Asia Zero Emissions Community (AZEC) Summit chaired by the Japanese Prime Minister. On this occasion, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will also have bilateral meetings with leaders of countries and international organizations attending the Conference.

Along with that, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had talks, meetings and contacts with high-ranking Japanese leaders; visited Japanese localities; worked and held talks with Japanese economic groups; promoted Vietnam-Japan labor cooperation...
Prime Minister Pham Minh's working trip continues to implement the foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, diversification, multilateralization, being a good friend, a reliable partner and a responsible member of the international community; affirming the role, responsibility and contribution to building a peaceful and prosperous ASEAN Community and an increasingly deep, substantive and effective ASEAN - Japan relationship.

At the same time, affirming Vietnam's consistent policy on green growth, responding to climate change; Vietnam's strong commitment and responsible contribution; conveying the message of a peaceful, sincere, trustworthy Vietnam, ready to strengthen friendly relations, dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation, building a peaceful and stable regional and international environment with other countries.
In particular, the working trip also concretized and implemented a new phase of cooperation in the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity in Asia and the World with Japan; creating a strong driving force for further strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the fields of economics, trade, investment, and labor, bringing the bilateral relationship to an increasingly deeper and more substantial level, bringing many practical benefits to the two countries and peoples./.
