Thua Thien Hue regulates land use limits in rural and urban areas.

The People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province has just issued Decision No. 60/2024/QD-UBND regulating the land allocation limit and land recognition limit for individuals and land users in the province.

This Decision takes effect from August 30, 2024 and replaces Decision No. 33/2014/QD-UBND dated June 30, 2014 and Decision No. 59/2021/QD-UBND dated September 30, 2021 amending and supplementing the Regulations on land allocation limits; land recognition limits for garden and pond land in the same plot of land with housing for households and individuals in Thua Thien Hue province.

The Decision has just issued detailed regulations on the limit of residential land allocation for individuals and land users in rural and urban areas; the limit of residential land recognition for cases of land use before December 18, 1980 and from December 18, 1980 to before October 15, 1993 in Thua Thien Hue province.

The land use limit in rural and urban areas in the area has just been regulated by the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province according to the document.

Applicable to State management agencies of natural resources and environment; State management agencies of housing, construction works and other relevant State management agencies. Households, individuals; land users, owners of assets attached to land.

According to the Decision, the limit of residential land allocation for individuals in wards of (Hue city) is not more than 200m2. In district towns and wards of towns, not more than 300m2. In plain communes, not more than 400m2. In midland and mountainous communes, not more than 500m2.

The limit of residential land recognition for households and individuals in cases of land use before December 18, 1980, including wards in Hue city, is 300m2. District towns and wards in towns are 450m2. Plain communes are 600m2. Midland and mountainous communes are 750m2.

The limit of residential land recognition for households and individuals in the case of land use from December 18, 1980 to before October 15, 1993, including wards of Hue city, is 200m2. Towns of districts and wards of towns are 300m2. Plain communes are 400m2. Midland and mountainous communes are 500m2.

In case the valid dossier has been received in accordance with regulations but has not been resolved before the effective date of this Regulation, the relevant agencies shall base on the provisions of Decision No. 33/2014/QD-UBND dated June 30, 2014, Decision No. 59/2021/QD-UBND dated September 30, 2021, Decision No. 61/2023/QD-UBND dated November 17, 2023 of the Provincial People's Committee to consider and resolve in accordance with regulations. In case the dossier is received after the effective date of this Decision, the competent authority shall resolve in accordance with the provisions of this Decision.
