With the growing trend of eco-tourism and experience, Van Don Farm (village 6, Ha Long commune) is also an eco-tourism and resort area that receives a lot of attention from tourists. Operating at the end of 2023 with services such as: Coffee, check-in, food and beverage service, resort accommodation, children's play area, organizing physical activities such as mountain climbing, yoga... on an area of about 23 hectares surrounded by mountains and forests and overlooking Bai Tu Long Bay, Van Don Farm offers an extremely spacious, comfortable and ideal space for entertainment and relaxation.
Among the district's tourism products, the district has registered 3 eco-tourism models concentrated in Ha Long, Doan Ket, and Van Yen communes. The district also linked this model with the new rural construction program, the OCOP program, the program to preserve the cultural values of ethnic minorities... initially bringing positive results, attracting a large number of visitors. Thereby, not only enhancing economic value, preserving traditional cultural identity, but also opening up a very promising development direction for farmers, so that farmers not only rely on traditional crops and livestock but also know how to get rich from many tourism models combined with agriculture on their fields and gardens.
With the orientation of promoting eco-tourism and experience models, in recent times, the district has assigned relevant professional departments to consult with departments and branches and guide households and businesses to develop specific projects and conduct thorough appraisals before granting exploitation and operation licenses to ensure conditions on land and construction procedures according to regulations. At the same time, the district has established an interdisciplinary working group to periodically and suddenly inspect tourist areas for conditions on fire prevention and fighting, food hygiene and safety, accommodation declaration regulations, etc. to create a friendly and safe tourism environment for visitors.
