Collected more than 739.4 million VND from the Natural Disaster Prevention and Control Fund, Phase 2, 2024

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision 1805/QD-UBND dated July 18, 2024 on assigning the plan to collect, exempt and reduce contributions to the Natural Disaster Prevention and Control Fund (PCTT) in 2024 in Lao Cai province (phase 2).

According to the plan, in the second phase - 2024, the whole province will collect more than 739.48 million VND from the PCTT Fund. Of which, Lao Cai city will collect more than 259.5 million VND; Bat Xat district will collect more than 424.8 million VND and Muong Khuong district will collect 55 million VND. No unit will be exempted or reduced from paying the PCTT Fund in the second phase - 2024.

Every year, Lao Cai province often experiences many natural disasters.

Fund payment deadline: Agencies, units, enterprises, cooperatives... must pay at least 50% of the fund before July 31, 2024, the remaining amount must be paid before November 30, 2024.

Decision 1805/QD-UBND also clearly states: In the process of implementing fund closing, if agencies and units discover that the planned amount assigned to the unit is not consistent with the reality of their unit, the head of that unit is responsible for declaring additional fund closing amount in accordance with current regulations, and at the same time, have a written report, explaining the cause and reason for adjusting the fund closing amount to the fund management agencies at all levels and be responsible before the law for the fund closing data, and make fund closing immediately after adjustment.
