111 officials applied for early retirement

On the afternoon of March 17, Lao Cai Province's Electronic Information Portal reported that according to data compiled by the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, up to now, the whole province has 111 cadres who have applied for early retirement.

Of which, 20 are officials under provincial management; 18 cases requested to resign according to Decree No. 177/2024/ND-CP; 93 cases requested to resign according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP.

Currently, the provincial authority has approved 71 cases of leave (Party Bloc: 38 cases, including 20 cases under provincial management, State Bloc: 33 cases).

Currently, the province is continuing to synthesize cases of early retirement according to Decree No. 177/2024/ND-CP and Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP of the Government . After receiving specific instructions from relevant departments, ministries and branches, it will review, give opinions and report to competent authorities according to regulations.

At the same time, direct specialized agencies to develop criteria for evaluating cadres, civil servants, and public employees in the 2025 organizational restructuring and submit them to the Provincial People's Committee for promulgation according to regulations, including orientations and suggestions for a framework of evaluation criteria for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the 2025 organizational restructuring, contributing to streamlining the payroll, restructuring, and improving the quality of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers, meeting task requirements.
