Vietcombank branches in Da Nang give gifts to support people in flood-affected areas

On the morning of December 3, a working delegation of Vietcombank branches in Da Nang City coordinated with Vietcombank Phu Yen to visit and give gifts to people affected by floods in Dong Hoa ward and Tuy An Dong commune.

The delegation included representatives from the following units: Vietcombank Da Nang, Vietcombank North Da Nang, Vietcombank South Da Nang, Vietcombank Quang Nam and Vietcombank Hoi An, led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Huong, Deputy Director of Vietcombank Da Nang. Also joining the delegation was Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Hoa, Deputy Director of Vietcombank Phu Yen.

During the program, the delegation presented a total of 108 gifts to households severely affected by the recent historic flood in Dong Hoa ward (50 gifts) and Tuy An Dong commune (58 gifts), each worth 2 million VND.

The total cost of 216 million VND, contributed by party members, officials and employees of Vietcombank branches in Da Nang City and Vietcombank Phu Yen , aims to help people reduce difficulties after floods.

At the gift-giving ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Bien, Chairman of Tuy An Dong Commune People's Committee, said that the recent flood caused many residential areas in the commune to be deeply submerged, causing great damage to property and production activities.

“The support from party members, officials and employees of Vietcombank branches is very practical, especially for households that have suffered heavy losses. This is a timely source of encouragement, helping people have more conditions to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, stabilize their lives and restore production,” Mr. Bien emphasized.
