Of which, the local ethnic minorities account for about 30.8%. To improve the people's lives, Krong Nang commune focuses on effectively implementing capital sources and support policies, especially the National Target Program on Socio -Economic Development of Ethnic Minority Areas (Program 1719), thanks to which the lives of people in the villages are increasingly improved.

The family of Ms. HNao Mlo (born in 1992) in Buon Nang is one of the households that benefited from the project to support breeding cows from the National Target Program 1719. When the Nang Village Self-Management Board informed that her family was among the beneficiaries, she was very excited. Ms. HNao shared: The family's circumstances are very difficult, so after getting married, my mother gave me land to build a house. My husband and I have no land to produce, so we have to do whatever we can to raise our two children and cover our daily expenses. "I am very happy that the state is paying attention to supporting breeding cows this time. My family is focusing on taking care of them so that they can grow and develop well and soon give birth to calves. I hope this will be a condition to help my family escape poverty in the near future."

In De village (Krong Nang commune), 100% of households are ethnic minorities, with 196 households and 1,210 people. In 2025, 45 households in the village received cows from the Reproductive Cow Support Project. The cows are not only valuable assets for the poor but also a "lever" to help them reorient their production thinking and increase their responsibility in escaping poverty through their own labor. Village head Y Sier Mlo said: Before receiving breeding cows, households attended a training class on breeding techniques, took the opportunity to repair barns, and some households reused old wooden boards and B40 mesh to build new barns. Everyone was eager to participate in the lottery and receive cows according to the code.

Ngoan village is a locality with many households receiving breeding cows from the project. The village has 247 households with 1,192 people. Previously, there were 175 poor households, but thanks to the attention and support of capital, seedlings, and science and technology from the local government, the number of poor households has now decreased to 138. "In my village, 50 households were given free breeding cows. This year, we were given crossbred cows and beautiful cows, and people were very excited and happy. Families without land to cultivate and were supported with cows, so people had a way to make a living, they learned how to intercrop, raise chickens and pigs, and apply science and technology to livestock and production, so their lives were more prosperous," said Mr. Y Thanh Nie - head of Ngoan village.

In 2025, Krong Nang commune organized two rounds of giving breeding cows to 231 poor and near-poor households of ethnic minorities from economic development support projects under the National Target Program 1719 and sustainable poverty reduction with a total budget of over 5.7 billion. The commune organized training sessions to instruct people on how to care for, prevent diseases, monitor the reproductive process, how to build barns, etc., thereby helping people feel secure in taking care of their cows.

According to Mr. Huynh Kim Dung, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Krong Nang commune, the project of breeding cows has contributed to supporting poor and near-poor households in developing their household economy, using their own labor to take care of the cows to develop well and give birth to calves early, gradually increasing family income, actively contributing to poverty reduction in the locality.
