In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation observed a minute of silence to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and the generations who sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland. The Party Committee, government and people of Da Nang city vow to unite, follow in the footsteps of their predecessors, join hands to build the city to become more and more developed and modern, worthy of being the growth engine of the central region and the whole country.
The announcement ceremony of the decisions on the reorganization of the government apparatus took place at a particularly important time, when Da Nang city was officially established on the basis of merging the entire administrative boundaries of Quang Nam province and the old Da Nang city. This is a major policy of the Party and State to streamline the apparatus, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management, and open up a new space for synchronous and sustainable development.
Immediately after the announcement ceremony, comrade Tran Cam Tu inspected the implementation of the two-level local government model in Hai Chau ward, one of the central administrative units of the new city. At the ward's public administration service center, the Standing member of the Secretariat directly discussed with people coming to do procedures, listening to their opinions on the speed of processing, service quality, and difficulties in the process of transferring the administrative apparatus.
Through the on-site inspection, comrade Tran Cam Tu acknowledged the efforts of the local government in maintaining smooth operations immediately after the merger; at the same time, he praised the sense of responsibility and dedicated attitude of serving the people of the local cadres and civil servants.
He emphasized that in the initial phase of implementing the new model, Party committees and authorities at all levels need to pay special attention to stabilizing the organization and ideology of cadres, continuing to thoroughly review and effectively operate the two-level apparatus in a streamlined, modern direction, serving the people quickly, promptly and in accordance with the law.
“It is necessary to put people at the center of all government activities; at the same time, ensure that each official clearly sees his or her responsibility to the people, especially in the current transitional period,” the Standing Member of the Secretariat noted.
Comrade Tran Cam Tu's field inspection trip demonstrated the Central Government's close attention to the reorganization of the administrative apparatus in the new Da Nang city - a model expected to become a role model for the whole country in implementing the policy of innovating the state apparatus towards streamlining, effectiveness, efficiency, and serving the people.
