(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of May 26, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee met to listen to reports and give opinions on the investment policy for the implementation of the Education Complex Project in Nam Son Ward, Kien An District and the investment policy for the construction project of Tran Phu Specialized High School (phase 3). Comrade Le Tien Chau, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation chaired the meeting.

TheEducation Complex Project in Nam Son Ward, Kien An District aims to form a multi-level educational complex including: General education facilities from primary to high school, vocational education facilities and higher education facilities according to the city's planning and regulations of law. The project has a scale of receiving about 5,820 students/year and the project's labor force is about 445 lecturers, teachers and staff. The total estimated investment capital is more than 648 billion VND (excluding land rent). The land area for project implementation is 100,970 m2 (about 10.1 ha). The project's operation period is 50 years from the date the Investor is decided by the City People's Committee to allocate or lease land. Complete the entire project and put it into operation within 08 years from the date the competent authority hands over the land on site, divided into 03 phases.

The investment project to build Tran Phu High School for the Gifted (phase 3) at Lot 10A Le Hong Phong, Dang Lam ward, Hai An district, has a total project capital of more than 174 billion VND, from the city budget, project implementation period from 2024 - 2027. The investment scale includes the construction of a 5-storey student dormitory, floor area of ​​2,450m2; a 2-storey cafeteria, floor area of ​​1,036m2; a multi-purpose gymnasium (standard for 36 sports) 1-storey high, floor area of ​​2,662.5m2; a football field measuring 45x75m; a domestic water tank + fire protection system with a volume of about 272.6m3; a generator system including a station and equipment with a capacity of 350KVA for the dormitory and multi-purpose gymnasium; Technical infrastructure systems such as parking lots, flower gardens, lighting, outdoor rainwater drainage, etc.

After listening to the reports and opinions of the delegates, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Tien Chau emphasized that the implementation of the Education Complex Project in Nam Son Ward, Kien An District will contribute to implementing the Party and State's policy of socializing education, encouraging investment in non-public educational institutions, improving the quality of general education, developing vocational and university education; at the same time, solving the educational needs not only of the people in the area but also meeting the needs of neighboring localities; When the project comes into operation, it will create more stable jobs for the locality, thereby contributing to promoting the local socio -economic development. In addition, the establishment of a school with many levels of education in the southwest of the city is in line with the development orientation of Hai Phong city in the future after the arrangement of administrative boundaries at the district level is completed.

For the Tran Phu High School for the Gifted (Phase 3) investment project, the aim is to complete the school's facilities, meet the requirements of comprehensive general education, develop the talents of high school students in the city, ensure accommodation, meals and study places for the school's students; attract excellent students from the city's districts, improve academic performance for the school in particular and the city in general, and make an important contribution to the city's strategy of developing high-quality human resources.

The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee unanimously agreed on the investment policy to implement the Education Complex Project in Nam Son Ward, Kien An District and the investment policy to build Tran Phu Specialized High School (phase 3) and assigned the City Party Committee to direct relevant departments and branches to continue completing the dossier, ensuring the feasibility and investment efficiency of the projects, in line with the city's educational development orientation in the coming period./.
