On the morning of August 7, Senior Lieutenant General Truong Thien To, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, inspected and encouraged the forces participating in the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 - (Mission A80) at Hanoi National University and the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism.

In recent times, units have actively and urgently organized training, practiced seriously, and ensured compliance with the plan. Overcoming difficulties in weather, accommodation, and high training intensity, officers and soldiers strictly followed discipline, diligently practiced and mastered the command movements according to the tasks of each block and each force.

Along with that, the units have done a good job of disseminating and educating the tasks to 100% of the officers and soldiers in the team, raising awareness, responsibility, high determination, ready to receive and complete the assigned parade and marching tasks.

Speaking at the inspection, Senior Lieutenant General Truong Thien To sent his warm regards, warm feelings and best wishes to the forces who are overcoming all difficulties, training day and night for the upcoming mission.

The Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army affirmed that this is not only a political and social activity of special significance, but also an occasion to affirm the stature of the August Revolution and National Day September 2; the strong, regular and modern development of the heroic Vietnam People's Armed Forces.

Directly monitoring the training forces, Senior Lieutenant General Truong Thien To highly appreciated and commended the sense of responsibility and high determination of the officers and soldiers during the past 4 months of high-intensity training, with the goal of "correct, even, strong, beautiful and unified".

Senior Lieutenant General Truong Thien To emphasized that there are only 26 days left until the Anniversary Ceremony. Based on the experience of daily and weekly training, the units need to continue to improve their individual movement skills, improve the quality of coordination and cooperation in each row, each unit and the entire parade and marching formation; must train their physical strength and maintain good health, prepare carefully in all aspects, maintain a vibrant competitive spirit, enhance the sense of responsibility, pride and honor of the soldiers who are honored to participate in the parade and marching so that the forces have the best mindset, contributing to the success of the important political event and the profound political significance of the country on the morning of September 2.

Promoting the immortal spirit of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, with the tradition of determination to fight and win of the Vietnam People's Army, with the solidarity, efforts and continuous efforts of each officer and soldier, Senior Lieutenant General Truong Thien To believes that the parade and march in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 will be a great success, leaving a deep impression in the hearts of the people and international friends.

The parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2nd, will take place at 6:30 a.m. on September 2nd at Ba Dinh Square and several central streets in Hanoi .

This year's parade featured military vehicles on the parade route for the first time in 40 years since National Day, September 2, 1985. The ground parade force of the Army and Police consisted of 43 marching units and 18 standing units.
