Song Bung 2 Hydropower Plant will operate to regulate the lake from 2:00 p.m. today, June 13.

(QNO) - From 2:00 p.m. today, June 13, Song Bung Hydropower Company will operate and regulate to ensure that the water level of Song Bung 2 Hydropower Reservoir is not higher than the normal water level with a flow rate of 20÷230m³/s.

Information from Song Bung Hydropower Company, at 8:00 a.m. this morning, June 13, the water level of Song Bung 2 Hydropower Reservoir was 602.96m, the water flow to the reservoir was 175.07m³/s, the water flow through the hydropower generator was 18.13m³/s.

Accordingly, Song Bung 2 Hydropower Plant will operate to ensure that the lake water level is not 605m higher than the normal water level. The operation will start at 2:00 p.m. on June 13, with the expected regulated discharge flow of 20÷230m³/s.

Song Bung Hydropower Company requests authorities at all levels to respond to natural disasters, floods, and inundations in accordance with regulations.
