According to the Departmentof Education and Training of Cu M'gar district, secondary schools in the district are focusing on assessing the quality of education, preparing conditions for the summary of the 2024-2025 school year; at the same time, promoting review, consolidating knowledge and test-taking skills for 9th grade students according to their needs.
In the 2024-2025 school year, Le Hong Phong Secondary School (Cu M'gar district) has 122 grade 9 students. The entrance exam for grade 10 high school in the 2025-2026 school year takes place over two days: on the morning of June 5, candidates will take the Literature exam, in the afternoon they will take the Foreign Language exam; on the morning of June 6, candidates will take the Math exam, in the afternoon they will take the specialized subject exam (for candidates taking the exam for Nguyen Du High School for the Gifted). |
Trieu Thi My Vy (Dao ethnic group), class 9A, is focusing on reviewing Literature according to each content, genre of works studied, question types... because the exam will be built in an open way and cannot be memorized like before. In addition to studying the main course and reviewing according to the school's general schedule, Vy also does additional types of questions from many different sources; then asks the subject teacher to mark them to be more confident in the upcoming exam with the hope of being admitted to Cu M'gar High School.
In Buon Ma Thuot City, the city's Department of Education and Training has issued a document instructing educational institutions to proactively organize review sessions for students; organize a mock exam for admission to grade 10 of high school for the 2025-2026 school year for nearly 22,000 grade 9 students across the city on May 9 and 10.

Head of the Department of Education and Training of Buon Ma Thuot City, Nguyen Huu Luat, shared that the structure and format of the test is often multiple choice for Math, so the Department encourages all 9th grade students to participate to know their learning ability and get familiar with the essay test format; how to fill in multiple choice answer sheets marked by machine (English subject).
According to the Department of Education and Training, the exam is organized to meet the learning needs of students, contributing to improving the quality of education in general schools. The Department of Education and Training established a Council to create a common exam for the whole province. The form and structure of the exam are suitable for the requirements of the subject and the goals of the secondary school level under the 2018 General Education Program, mainly in the 9th grade program. Accordingly, the Math exam enhances application through practical calculations, closely following the requirements and goals of assessing students' abilities in the Math program under the new General Education Program. The Literature exam does not use the materials learned in textbooks (all 3 sets of books). The Foreign Language exam is in the form of objective multiple choice tests.
