£67m striker set to leave Man City

According to the Daily Mail , Savinho's agent is on his way to Europe to finalise transfer talks with Tottenham. Man City are willing to let their player leave if they receive £67 million.

Just a year ago, Man City spent £35m to sign Savinho. But after a series of new recruits in the summer transfer window, Pep Guardiola's team no longer rate the Brazilian striker highly.

Tottenham made an initial bid of £42m for Savinho but it was immediately rejected by Man City. Spurs are expected to return soon with a second offer that is closer to the Etihad team's demands.

Savinho wants to become a star in the Premier League instead of just being a reserve player, especially when the 2026 World Cup is approaching. This is the factor that makes him consider leaving Man City.

Savinho has scored three goals and provided 13 assists in 48 appearances during his time at the Etihad, but has yet to replicate his form at Girona, where he scored 11 goals and provided 10 assists in the 2023/24 season.

If Savinho leaves Man City, Guardiola's side are likely to make an offer for Real Madrid striker Rodrygo. However, "Los Blancos" value Rodrygo at more than £85 million.
