Tien Giang: Completed and put into use 4 bridges and culverts on provincial roads 861 and 863

(ABO) According to the Management Board of Traffic Construction Investment Projects of Tien Giang province, after a period of focused implementation, the construction package of Kinh Kho bridge, Tam Thuoc bridge, Dat Set bridge and Hai Tho culvert (located in Cai Be district) under the Project to Upgrade and Expand Provincial Roads 861, 863, 869 (connecting Tien Giang province and Dong Thap province) has been completed, accepted and put into use to ensure progress.

Accordingly, the package includes: Bridges on provincial road 861 (Kinh Kho bridge, Tam Thuoc bridge; bridges and culverts on provincial road 863 (Dat Set bridge, Hai Tho culvert). The construction package is worth more than 47.2 billion VND and is constructed by Minh Thai Construction Service Trading Company Limited.

The package was implemented in mid-August 2024. With the investor's strong focus and the contractor's efforts, up to now, 4 bridges and culverts of the package have been completed and put into use.

The 2 Rabbit Sewer has been completed and put into use.
Hai Tho culvert has been completed and put into use.

On June 6, the Tien Giang Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board coordinated with relevant units to hand over the site to the contractor to implement the construction package of Ngoc Lan Bridge and Sau Binh Bridge on Provincial Road 861 under the Project to Upgrade and Expand Provincial Roads 861, 863, 869.

These are the two remaining weak bridges located on Provincial Road 861. According to plan, these two bridges are expected to be completed by the end of August 2025.

According to the Management Board of Traffic Construction Investment Projects of Tien Giang province, the Project to Upgrade and Expand Provincial Roads 861, 863, 869 has a total investment of more than 249 billion VND, of which the site clearance cost is 80,581 billion VND from the central budget and provincial budget.

The project is invested to meet the needs of goods transportation and circulation of people in the western region of the province; between the western region, Tien Giang province with Dong Thap province and Long An province. Previously, the package to upgrade, expand the road surface, drainage system, lighting and build 4 bridges on provincial road 869 (Ong Thach, Cong Trau, Bay Thuoc, Quan Cu) under the project was also completed and put into use.
