The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) has just issued Decision No. 4068/QD-BGDDT approving the "Plan to organize the Exam and consider recognizing high school graduation from 2025".
The exam needs to properly assess the learning outcomes of learners according to the goals and standards required by the 2018 GeneralEducation Program;
Using exam results to consider recognizing high school graduation and as one of the bases for evaluating the teaching and learning quality of general education institutions and the direction of educational management agencies;
Provide reliable data for universities and vocational education institutions to use in enrollment in the spirit of autonomy.
English is no longer a compulsory subject for the 2025 high school graduation exam (photo TL).
According to the Ministry of Education and Training , students who have completed high school programs, high school continuing education programs in the year of the exam or have completed high school programs, high school continuing education programs but have not yet taken the high school graduation exam or have taken the exam but have not yet graduated from high school and wish to take the exam to be recognized as high school graduates.
Students who have a high school diploma or a secondary school diploma and wish to take the exam to use the results as a basis for admission to university and vocational education.
Accordingly, the exam content closely follows the content of the 2018 General Education Program. Literature is tested in essay form. The remaining subjects are tested in multiple-choice form.
Candidates must take compulsory exams in Literature, Mathematics and 2 subjects that candidates can choose from the remaining subjects studied in grade 12 (Foreign Language, History, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Economic and Legal Education, Information Technology, Technology).
The high school graduation exam is organized nationwide with the same questions, same exam sessions, and same time according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Combine the results of process assessment and graduation exam results in a proportion appropriate to the implementation roadmap of the 2018 General Education Program.
