On June 10, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a conference to review 1 year of removing "bottlenecks" in the implementation of Project 06 and promote connection and data sharing to serve the development of e-commerce and improve the efficiency of tax management. The conference was held directly and online between the Government Headquarters and the bridges of ministries, branches, central agencies and provinces and centrally run cities. Also attending the conference were Deputy Prime Ministers: Le Minh Khai, Tran Luu Quang; leaders of ministries, branches, central agencies; representatives of Party committees and agencies of the National Assembly ; leaders of People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities.

At Thai Nguyen bridge, comrade Trinh Viet Hung, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, together with representatives of leaders of departments, branches, members of the Provincial Project 06 Implementation Working Group, representatives of the Provincial Tax Department, VNPT Thai Nguyen, Viettel Thai Nguyen, Provincial Post Office , Thai Nguyen Electricity Company, and Heads of the Project 06 Implementation Working Group at the district level attended the conference.

After 1 year of implementing the Prime Minister's direction on removing bottlenecks in the implementation of Project 06, with the drastic and synchronous direction and active participation of ministries, branches and localities, the project continues to become a bright spot in administrative reform, effectively serving the direction and operation work, bringing many benefits to people and businesses. The project has provided 25/25 essential public services, helping to save nearly 3,500 billion VND/year; more than 4,500 online public services are provided on the National Public Service Portal. 100% of localities have simplified administrative procedures. The Ministry of Finance has issued a document reducing 50-80% of fees and charges for 8 online public services by 2025, 62/63 localities have applied exemption and reduction of fees and charges.

For 1 year of implementing Prime Minister's Directive 18 and tax management, currently, Vietnam's e-commerce, according to the report of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, is 20.5 billion USD and will reach 30.5 billion USD by 2025. Vietnam is identified as the country with the fastest growth in e-commerce in Southeast Asia...

In Thai Nguyen province, the implementation results of Project 06 have made an important contribution to administrative reform, especially improving the satisfaction index of people and organizations with the service of state administrative agencies, the effectiveness of governance and public administration of the province. In particular, many large and difficult tasks have been completed by the province, specifically: Integrating 53/53 Essential Public Services on the National Public Service Portal and the Provincial Administrative Procedure Information System; 100% of tax payment transactions are carried out through banks; 100% of medical examination and treatment facilities use chip-embedded ID cards; building and completing the land database; cleaning social security data, etc.

At the conference, based on the assessment and analysis of the achieved results, existing problems and difficulties, leaders of ministries, departments, branches and localities contributed ideas and proposed solutions to remove bottlenecks in the legal corridor, digital infrastructure investment, measures to avoid tax losses and trade fraud.

Speaking at the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh commended and highly appreciated the results achieved in the implementation of Project 06. With 5 remaining bottlenecks raised at the conference, the Prime Minister requested the heads of ministries, departments, branches and localities to uphold their sense of responsibility, continue to strengthen and allocate resources, and speed up the implementation of the project. Focus on developing e-commerce, improving the effectiveness of tax management to avoid tax losses and trade fraud, promoting information and propaganda work, and proactively creating conditions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the project in the coming time./.
