Civil defense exercise content subcommittee deploys tasks

On the morning of April 21, the Content Subcommittee and the Provincial Civil Defense Exercise Organizing Committee held a meeting to assign tasks and deploy the contents to prepare for the 2025 provincial civil defense exercise. Colonel Dang Quoc Dong, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Deputy Standing Subcommittee of the Content Committee chaired the meeting.

The exercise has the theme: "Vinh Phuc province coordinates with Military Region 2 and local forces to organize civil defense, respond to dike incidents and search and rescue". This is the first exercise organized after the Law on Civil Defense took effect on a large scale, with new content and high requirements, as a model for Military Region 2, so the preparation work needs to carefully study documents, conduct field surveys, combine theory and practice to ensure the content is close to reality, and organize safe exercises. Through the exercise, to propagate andeducate to raise awareness and responsibility of all levels, sectors and people; to proactively prevent, avoid, and do a good job of preparing and being ready to respond to all types of natural disasters, catastrophes and dike and dam incidents in the area.

At the Conference, delegates discussed and contributed ideas to the draft assignment of tasks to the members of the Subcommittee on civil defense drills, response to dike and dam incidents and search and rescue in the province in 2025; the draft Plan for organizing civil defense drills in the province in 2025. Based on the delegates' comments, the Subcommittee's support team will complete the drill documents before April 28; coordinate with other departments to consolidate and prepare training grounds and training grounds. It is expected that from May 4 to May 20, agencies, units and localities will organize training, segmental practice, joint practice and record and create videos of each drill content and situation. The province will complete all drill preparations before May 28 and organize the drill on June 6.

Given the importance of the exercise, based on the agreed contents, relevant agencies, units and localities actively and urgently completed the preparation work, ensuring the exercise took place safely, achieving the set goals and requirements.
