Leaders of the Ministry of National Defense and Binh Duong province met, visited, encouraged and presented gifts to the delegations of the three armies of China, Laos and Cambodia. Leaders of the Ministry of National Defense emphasized that the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day is a particularly important event, not only for the Vietnamese people but also for international friends who have accompanied and supported Vietnam in the struggle for national independence. The participation of the armies of China, Laos and Cambodia contributed significantly to the overall success of the celebration, thereby demonstrating the traditional friendship, solidarity and special attachment between Vietnam and neighboring countries with adjacent borders.

Expressing gratitude for the sentiments from Vietnam, the delegations’ representatives expressed their honor and joy to be invited by the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense to send forces to participate in the parade and march at this important Anniversary. The delegations also highly appreciated the Organizing Committee for their thoughtful preparation, warm welcome, ensuring adequate means of transportation, accommodation, and training locations; were especially impressed with the hospitality of the Vietnamese people; and affirmed that they will strive to fulfill their tasks well.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, the Ministry of National Defense invited the Chinese People's Liberation Army, the Lao People's Army and the Royal Cambodian Army to send military personnel to participate in the parade and march at the Anniversary Ceremony. The military delegations of the three countries were arranged accommodation in Binh Duong province, and at the same time organized training and participated in preliminary and final rehearsals with the Vietnam People's Army, the Vietnam People's Public Security and the masses on Le Duan Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
