At the ceremony, the People's Committee of Di An Ward organized a house handover ceremony for Mr. Tran Van Chau's family (Nguyen An Ninh Street, Binh Minh 2 Quarter, Di An Ward), a poor household in need of housing support. The newly built house has an area of 57 square meters, with a construction cost of about 157 million VND. Of which, 100 million VND is from the budget and 57 million VND is mobilized by the locality from socialized sources.

Implementing the direction of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, up to now, Di An city has built 03 new houses and repaired 13 temporary and dilapidated houses and it is expected that by April 20, 2025, the city will complete the program.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Minh assessed that, in implementing the Prime Minister's Directive on accelerating the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide, Binh Duong has quickly organized and implemented it in all districts and cities. In particular, in addition to capital from the State budget, localities have mobilized resources to build new and repair hundreds of old and dilapidated houses to help poor and disadvantaged households have decent housing to stabilize their lives.

Currently, Binh Duong is striving to complete the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses by the end of June 2025.
