List of 100 recognized digital schools in Ho Chi Minh City
Previously, in December 2024, the Department of Education and Training issued an official dispatch directing the Departments of Education and Training, general schools, and affiliated units to implement the set of digital school standards.
In addition, the Department of Education and Training has proactively researched and built an information system synthesizing the results of the assessment of the digital school standards set operating at https://dti.hcm.edu.vn . The system helps collect data and evidence from specialized systems such as: Education and Training sector database, educational institution management system, teaching and learning management system, school facilities and equipment management system, etc.
Nguyen Thai Hoc Primary School (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), one of the schools that has just been recognized as a digital school.
Based on the collected information, the system automatically synthesizes and reports the implementation results of the standards set of each unit. On February 10, 2025, the City People's Committee issued a plan to deploy the standards set for recognizing digital schools in the city. In particular, the Department of Education and Training, after the units are recognized as digital schools, will continue to synthesize the profiles of 50 typical digital school units to send to the Department of Home Affairs to organize appraisal, submit to the Standing Committee of the City People's Committee for recognition and attach a signboard to the project to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
According to the City Department of Education and Training, after the units organized to review and compare the results on the system with specialized management systems, there were 100 units eligible for recognition as digital schools according to the decision of the City People's Committee.
